  • We were married in Winnetka, IL in 1998.

  • We both attended Northwestern University for our undergraduate degrees.

    • This is where we met!

    • David majored in Neurobiology and Art Theory and Practice. (1996)

    • Sara majored in Economics and International Studies with a minor in Russian Language. (1998)

    • This is where we became addicted to stuffed pizza! Chicago Style!

      • We now make a pretty good pizza ourselves! Ask us to make it for you when you visit us next.

      • We also make the country's best hot chocolate.

  • Sara attended the University of Missouri for her MLS degree (Library Science). (2003)

  • David attended Liberty University for his MA (Philosophy of Religion). (2009)

  • Sara works as the director of the library at Patrick Henry College. (2009-Present)

  • David teaches and is a student of philosophy.

    • Areas of Interest: Metaphysics and Phenomenology of Time, Philosophy of Religion (God and Time)

    • My interest in time is why there is a clock in the top left corner . . . in case you were wondering.

  • Sara's hobbies and interests include:
    history, religion/theology, and historical fiction. She enjoys learning about the Russian culture.

  • David's hobbies and interests include:
    theology & philosophy, ancient history, construction and woodworking, computers and electronic gadgets, the sciences and science fiction, and nutrition/ exercise/ health/ medicine.

  • We currently have the best dog anyone could ask for. Her name is Marmalady (named after Marmalade Jelly on account of her orange color).

  • Currently, as of 2013, when we have time, we work on the house. Sara works mostly on the gardening and landscaping. David works on the house. Our big project of the moment is the library (go figure).
